Aron Snyder's Backcountry Food Plan

A longtime backcountry hunter and high country backpacker, Aron Snyder spends more than 150 days per year sleeping on the ground. When he’s not stalking mule deer or working on Kifaru International's long line of backpacking products, Aron is able to take these opportunities to dial in his backcountry food list. I’ve never been one to literally count calories but it’s good to see that what I’m including in my meal prep is wry close to what I’m seeing here. Neither Aron nor Frank have ever steered me wrong and I’ve found that while I can be stubborn and what to try it myself sometimes, their guidance is spot on. Somehow I wind up right where they told me in the first place. Great insight into a couple of dudes that cannot be shrugged off. They’re as real as they get.

Do you have an estimate to the weight (pounds/ounces) that equates to per day? The list looks awesome.
